Relevant experience for a Machinist

We’re looking for people with at least 2 years of experience setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machines. This is a technical, hands-on role where you’ll work with precision equipment and detailed blueprints to manufacture high-tolerance components.

You may already have the right skills if you’ve worked in:

  • CNC machining or manufacturing
  • Tool and die making
  • Automotive or aerospace machining
  • Technical or trade school machining programs

Other important skills include:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Using CAD/CAM and Mastercam software to generate part programs
  • Applying G-code and CNC programming
  • Working with micrometers, calipers and dial indicators
  • Following detailed work instructions and quality processes
