Types of manufacturing jobs we offer

These are some of the jobs you’ll typically find at the entry-level:

  • Mechanics: Can be involved in tool fabrication, aircraft inspection, component installation or repair/modification.
  • Assemblers: On our more complex manufacturing lines, there are many specialized assembler roles whose responsibilities are centered on building specific parts of an aircraft.
  • Painters: You’ll be tasked with applying the livery to the exterior of aircraft, along with other duties involving enamels, lacquers and varnishes.

More advanced roles that you can grow into, include:

  • Electronic maintenance technician: You’ll troubleshoot and repair the cutting-edge equipment that we use to build aircraft.
  • Machine repair mechanic: You’ll repair complex factory machinery and perform preventive maintenance and upgrades. This role requires experience repairing mechanical systems on industrial equipment.
  • Aviation maintenance technician and inspector: You’ll perform the inspection, test and repair for aircraft and engine systems to prepare them for flight. This role is suited to aviation students and people with two years’ aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Aircraft structures mechanic: You’ll work on components, wiring and equipment that are critical to aircraft assembly. This role requires experience using hand-held power tools.
  • Integral fuel cell assembly (in-tank mechanic): Working in small spaces, you’ll assemble and install components for wing assemblies. This role requires experience with hand-held power tools and the ability to maneuver through an 18 x 10-inch fuel tank opening.
