If you’re a college sophomore majoring in engineering and you are looking for a unique way to launch your career, apply to our Engineering Accelerated Launch Program. You’ll benefit from paid tuition for junior and senior years of college, the opportunity to network with top-level executives, two paid summer sessions, part-time employment during your junior and senior school years and the opportunity for a full-time Boeing position after completing your degree. *Subject to terms of the program.
During the summer sessions, you’ll network with Boeing leaders and work on real-world projects that contribute to aerospace innovation. We believe in your potential. That’s why the program covers all tuition and certain educational and housing expenses for your junior and senior years of college. Then, after graduation and satisfaction of the terms of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to continue your career in a full-time capacity, doing work that helps all of humanity to take flight.

To be considered for this program, you must:
Be a sophomore-year college student obtaining an engineering degree
Be currently enrolled at one of the following universities:
University of Washington
Virginia Tech
Washington University in St. Louis
Have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, if required, for which the U.S. government requires U.S. citizenship

The program is an innovative engineering development program for sophomore engineering students from select universities.
Tuition and certain educational expenses and housing will be covered for the student’s junior and senior years of college. Additionally, those selected for the program will participate in a wide range of engineering and product-focused activities, immersive development exercises, mentorships and the opportunity to network with top leaders in the company. Students selected for the program will have the opportunity to participate in two paid summer sessions (one before junior year and one before senior year), part-time work during their junior and senior years and the opportunity for a full-time engineering position with Boeing.

Yes, those selected for the program will be working on unique engineering projects in collaboration with some of the brightest minds in the industry.
The goals of the program are to accelerate participants’ development as engineers, provide hands-on engineering experience and exposure to unique products and technologies.
Participants will have opportunities to be part of a wide range of innovative technologies and products across the company and collaborate with Boeing teammates as they support engineering projects that will accelerate their development as future Boeing engineers.
Participants must complete two summer sessions (one before junior year and one before senior year) at Boeing, part-time employment during their junior and senior years and, if a full-time offer is extended, three years as a full-time employee with Boeing after graduation.
To participate and receive the benefits of the program, a retention agreement is required. If you voluntarily terminate your employment or are discharged for cause during your retention period, you are obligated to repay the gross amount of the special payments paid on your behalf (or directly to you). If your employment terminates during your retention period due to involuntary termination (other than for cause), involuntary layoff, disability or death, you will not be obligated to repay the special payments paid to date.
Yes, participants will be Boeing employees throughout the program.
Those who are selected and accept a position in the program will be paid using established salary guidelines. Additionally, participants receive a competitive 401(k) package, health care, paid time off and other best-in-class benefits, subject to the eligibility terms of each program.
Opportunities will be located at different Boeing sites across the U.S. based on the needs of the business.
These positions offer relocation based on candidate eligibility.
The positions will be on-site with travel opportunities available.
