The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Human Resources (HR) team is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (Experienced orSenior) to join our dynamic HR organization in San Antonio, TX supporting Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B).


This role is ideal for an HR professional with a strong business-facing background, particularly in Manufacturing and Quality, Engineering, Program Management, and other functions.  The successful candidate will serve as an HR contact for the VC25B Program supporting employees deployed to an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and production teams. Work responsibilities will be closely aligned with the cross-functional deployed teams, supporting both their HR needs and business objectives.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible, on-the-floor HR presence to facilitate real-time engagement and solutions within cross-functional teams
  • Serve as the HR contact for VC25B employees deployed to IPT and Production teams, ensuring alignment with the needs and goals of these teams
  • Provide day-to-day HR support specific to a program/site, including attending staff meetings, employee assistance, HR process execution
  • Provide consultation and coaching to employees in IPT teams on HR practices and processes
  • Support key HR processes including performance management, employee movement, leadership coaching, and engagement activities
  • Partner with business leaders, ethics, and corporate investigations to resolve workplace concerns, support corrective actions, and develop performance improvement and development plans
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships to deliver integrated HR initiatives and solutions
  • Collaborate with the broader HR team and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver seamless, high-quality operational HR support
  • Support division/program priorities including unique projects based on local needs
  • Apply conflict resolution techniques and handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
  • Leverage HR metrics and people data to identify trends and assess the effectiveness of HR support
  • Develop and monitor IPT and Production-level Workforce Plans in partnership with Program HR
  • Partner with Functional HR Homeroom organizations to build and sustain the talent pipeline
  •  Implement division and program talent strategies at the IPT team level to ensure alignment and effective execution. Consistent on-site availability required
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing associated projects
  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes
  • 3+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Human Resources certification(s) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
  • Experience working with labor unions
  • Proven experience in problem-solving, data analysis, and utilizing HR tools and systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Level 3: $95,200– $128,800

Summary pay range for Level 4: $119,000 - $161,000
