Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Oklahoma Systems Integration teams are looking for seeking a broad range of or experience levels, including Associate, Experienced and Expert Level Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health Engineers to join the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers programs. The candidate engineer will work with a dynamic and diverse Systems Integration team that supports the design, configuration, production, certification, and delivery of aircraft integrated systems. This position is in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, system health, testability, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

The selected candidate will be required to perform work 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.  This position will also be eligible for the OKC 9x80 alternate work schedule. 

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 2 or more years' experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile, flexible team environment, ability to perform system analysis, basic software level thinking

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Experienced Level)
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Expert Level)
  • Experience using the Systems Engineering V implementing a System onto a product.
  • System Engineering requirements and verifications experience.
  • Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships.
  • Reliability, Maintainability or System Health experience.
  • Working experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Reliability & Maintainability Predictions, and/or Reliability Testing activities.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in electrical, hydraulic, avionic, propulsion, fuel, Environmental Control System (ECS) or Cockpit Control Systems.
  • Master’s education in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of experience with Reliability and Maintainability engineering principles.

Summary Pay Range: Associate $85,000 – 115,000

Summary Pay Range: Experienced $104,550 – 141,450

Summary Pay Range: Expert $127,500 – 172,500
