An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing Poland asanIntern Software Engineer.

Positionoverview:           
Boeing Poland Software Engineering develops and produces avionics and electronics systems designed for use onaircraftand other platforms for purposes such as navigation, flight controls, information systems, and other core avionics functions. We have set our sights high – to design, develop, and manufacture the most technically advanced and reliable avionic components in the world. We are innovating and developing new products to address the future of the urban air mobility as well as our next generation of commercial, tactical, and traineraircraftmarkets.

As anIntern Software Engineer,you will join the Boeing Poland Software Engineering team consisting of highly skilled, high performing engineering team memberssupporting multiple projectsacross Software Engineering organization.

We’replanning to hire interns for the following paths:

  • C/C++

  • Java/Python

  • MBD

Hiring details: 

  • Candidates can work from our office inGdańskor Rzeszów

  • This isapart time position

PositionResponsibilities:

  • Utilizing modern programming techniques, tools,languagesand agile software development methodologies to build software for delivered Boeing systems

  • Performing engineering activities including architecture design, software development,integrationand testing

  • Proactively contributing to project execution plan to set and effectively achieve operational goals

  • Influencing,innovatingand continuously improving the software engineering process as well as quality, safety and reliability of products and services provided by Boeing

  • Cultivating a positive staff culture, team motivation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ months of professional experience/ documented students projects

  • Student status

  • Englishproficiency

  • Commitmenttoworkingminimum20hoursaweek

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiarity with airborne software certification and tools qualification processes and standards

  • Design and systems thinking skills

as well as:

  • C/C++ path:  

- Experience inC orC++

- Experience incontainerization

- Familiarity with software development cycle such as version control, testing methodologies, agiledevelopmentand CI/CD.

  • Java/Pythonpath:

​- Experience in Javaor Python

- Experience in containerization

- Experience in database development (PostgreSQL)

- Experience in developing web services (REST, SOAP, etc.)

- Familiarity with software development cycle such as version control, testing methodologies, agiledevelopmentand CI/CD.

  • MBD path:  

- Familiarity with Model Based Design, preferably in MATLAB and Simulink suite

- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python

- Elementary knowledge of building models, simulating systems, analyzing simulation results, and code generation in MBD approach.

- Familiarity with software development cycle such as version control, testing methodologies, agiledevelopmentand CI/CD.
