The BGS P-8 Sustainment program is seeking a Systems Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our dynamic team leading the way in Integrated Health Management Systems (IHMS) in Tukwila, Washington. Our Engineers work in a highly dynamic environment collecting data, analyzing data and making actionable recommendations to enable critical product improvements and support decisions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform prime Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) and Health Management System (HMS) analysis functions in support of our Navy R&M customer and the Reliability Control Board
  • Perform data acquisition, management and reporting, to support design, maintenance, logistics, and business development throughout the product lifecycle
  • Apply analysis results and make recommendations to product teams and system support/supportability, to influence design and comply with requirements
  • Define, develop and implement processes and tools needed to execute system health functions and engineering supportability across the program and to improve productivity, accuracy, quality and efficiency
  • Perform and document system health validation and verification activities, to assess adherence to specifications
  • Research, analyze, and compile technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
  • Apply system processes, methodologies and tools to design systems and new product development

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Mid-Level System Engineers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 2+ years of experience in technical or engineering field
  • Experience with C++, Python or Java
  • Experience with Data Analytics tools
  • Experience with Linux

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Systems Engineering experience using tools such as Windchill, BORIS, and other common tools.
  • Experience with analyzing field data commercial derivative aircraft
  • P-8 mission and aircraft systems background

Summary pay range Associate (level 2): $98,600 - $133,400

Summary pay range Mid-Level (level 3): $119,850 - $162,150
