Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general supervision. Responsible for product excellence and implementation of quality assurance programs to provide defect free products to all customers

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports QA Team with overall customer quality to meet/ exceed both customer quality objectives and Internal customer quality metrics  
  • Assists with customer scorecard metrics within the organization.  Assists Supplier Quality Team with Supplier performance metrics.
  • Leads customer root cause corrective actions (RCCA) activities for the customer which includes the implementation of corrective actions and conducts effectiveness audits on all customer corrective actions
  • Develops and Leads Quality Improvement plans with customers
  • Leads all purge activity and makes final decision on disposition of product conformance.  Monitors all organizational purges are completed on time
  • Assists with monthly customer quality metric reviews with customer and internal organization measures.
  • Works with Customer on Returns Material Authorization (RMA) product or request Material Review Board (MRB) approval
  • Assists with (co-hosts) 3rd party and Customer audits. Undertakes internal audits for the region. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 4-5 years of related work experience (6-8 years preferred)
  • or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Knowledge of AS9100/9120 quality standard
  • Undertake internal BDSI training to gain Six Sigma Greenbelt
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles
  • Internal Audit and/or AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study
