Boeing Environment, Health and  Safety (EHS) is seeking an experienced Front-Line Leader to lead a multi-discipline Enterprise-level Workplace Safety team that supports Boeing EHS personnel and programs. This role provides a unique opportunity to lead in various aspects of workplace safety, including but not limited to , audit, compliance, data analytics,  employee development, and engagement while collaborating across functions, business units, and programs. The specific elements of this role may evolve based on organizational needs and priorities within the EHS scope.

This position has a preference for the selected candidate to be based out of Renton, WA. Additional locations available include: Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO or  North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a multi-discipline team responsible for enterprise-wide workplace safety activities, including data analytics, audits, compliance, and employee development

  • Support the Enterprise EHS Data Analytics Team to prepare and present proactive injury trend reports, analyses, and actionable insights across the company

  • Oversee the EHS Risk Assurance / Audit team to ensure compliance with external regulations and company policies, and to verify the effectiveness of controls that protect employee health and safety

  • Plan, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety programs, processes, training, and risk‑management control technologies

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, form and lead cross-functional teams, set operational goals, and secure necessary resources

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports to align EHS priorities and drive results

  • Manage performance, development, and engagement of direct reports; foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Experience  leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports)

  • Experience with data analytics for safety metrics

  • Experience conducting EHS audits, inspections, investigations, and coordinating resolution of issues

  • Experience communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

  • Experience managing or leading the planning and execution of programs and projects

  • Capable of traveling up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher

  • Experience managing  EHS teams at an enterprise or multi-site level

  • Experience in a large, complex manufacturing or aerospace environment

  • Experience with risk management systems, EHS data platforms, and process improvement methodologies

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $119,000 - $172,500
