The Boeing Company is looking for aBusiness Operations Specialist (Senior or Lead)to join the team in Plano, TX; or Seattle, WA.

The selected candidate will be the central operational engine that keeps our staff organized and moving forward. This role reports to the Chief Operations Officer of Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) and is a critical role in the success of the leadership team and broader organization.

You will be responsible for translating strategy into measurable outcomes that drive performance, reporting, financial and headcount planning, and managing overall operational execution across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a “get-it-done” attitude, someone who removes obstacles, delivers results, and can also step back to align day-to-day activities with a broader strategic vision of our operating model.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear, timely reports for business performance updates and executive scorecards that drive leadership decisions

  • Maintain dashboards and executive metrics Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment to strategic priorities and enable fact-based course corrections

  • Translate complex data into concise, actionable narratives and recommendations for senior leaders

  • Act as a strategic partner, anticipate needs, and identify opportunities to scale or simplify work, and ensure initiatives align to the IDT&S vision and roadmap

  • Work across IDT&S, Finance, Human Resource, Indirect Supply Chain, and product/program/service teams to operationalize our strategy and help resolve cross functional barriers that impede execution

  • Support development and vetting of multi-year business cases and priority setting for strategic initiatives

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for the organization in partnership with Finance

  • Partner with Finance to monitor financial budget-to-actuals and recommend course correction

  • Coordinate workforce and resourcing requests through intake, prioritization, and approval (Leadership team (LT), Human Resources (HR), and Finance) - ensuring healthy backlog management for the organization

  • Monitor budget-to-actuals and recommend course corrections

  • Work with leadership team to manage headcount forecasts in Adaptive Planning

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects

  • Experience in analytical skills and experience designing, executing and harmonizing data from multiple data sources to create actionable insights and recommendations

  • Willingness to create and implement process improvements and ability to see the big picture

  • High attention to detail, self-starter, results driven

  • Willing to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and excellent communication both written and verbal

  • Experience in Information Technology (IT) services environments and a track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Senior: $142,800 - $193,200

Summary Pay Range for Lead: $173,400 - $234,600
