Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Experienced Systems Engineering Technician to join the Aircraft Modernization and Modification programs. The desired candidate will work in the B-52 Sustainment and Radar Modification Program (RMP) office in a Cybersecurity/LISSO (Limited Information System Security Officer) role.

The candidate will work well with others and harmonize with all levels of Information Security personnel as well as upper management on a periodic basis.

This Level 4 position is located in Oklahoma City. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Supports systems/specialty engineers in defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information.
  • Gathers, tracks and analyzes reliability, maintainability and health monitoring data.
  • Selects appropriate data to conduct failure analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Evaluates and recommends methods, processes, procedures and tools for assessing maintainability characteristics of design.
  • Coordinates the development of certification and aviation regulatory proposals and plans and verifies compliance to requirements.
  • Develops and implements certification processes, tools and procedures.
  • Provides technical support to all system engineering activities.
  • Coaches and mentors others.
  • Works under minimal direction.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Information Security experience
  • 2 or more years of experience with Systems Engineering principles
  • Experience working with internal, external and/or Government customers directly
  • Experience in maintaining cybersecurity controls for assigned systems to meet enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and 2 or more years' experience
  • System Engineering requirements and security verifications experience
  • Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Great communications and writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile, flexible team environment
  • compTIA certification

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This position would work 1st Shift.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 5% of the time

Summary pay range:

$74,800 - $101,200
