  •   Author and release engineering dispositions, field fixes, and installation procedures to support onwing and factory fixes

  • Review and approve supplier technical data and installation packages to ensure readiness for factory implementation and delivery acceptance

  • Support aircraft acceptance events with airline customers, validate installation quality, and close out delivery nonconformances

  • Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and summary reports tied to delivery milestones and certification requirements

  • Capture lessons learned from emergent issues and drive design or process changes to prevent recurrence

  • Interface with regulatory authorities (including FAA) as needed for dispositioning issues affecting certification or delivery

  •    Support IPTs to align priorities, schedule tradeoffs, risk mitigation, and supplier corrective action plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 9+ years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience

  • Handson installation and delivery support for aircraft interiors or seat systems in a production or final assembly environment

  • Rapid troubleshooting and resolution of emergent build or field issues

  • Working directly with suppliers, airline customers, and production/factory teams

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and certification implications of installation issues

  • Experience authoring engineering dispositions, field fixes, or installation work instructions

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for supplier or customer support

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple delivery issues, and communicate concise technical status to leadership and customers
