Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Facilities Management Center of Expertise (FM CoE) team at our North Charleston, SC site.

The Senior manager will be accountable for overseeing all facets of facilities management. This role involves leading a cross-functional team and collaborating effectively with our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) supplier. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, maintaining financial accountability for budgets and processes and engaging in strategic collaboration with executive leadership and supplier partners.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage facilities maintenance team, both internal and supplier-based, at the Charleston site

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, emergency responses, shutdowns and asset renewal strategies

  • Manage facilities budgets and ensure financial accountability

  • Collaborate with business partners, engineering, project management teams and other service groups to support regional facilities initiatives

  • Drive and influence change through leadership and collaboration, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

  • Lead, motivate, and develop teams and managers, including conflict management and talent development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across CoEs, with the BRM community, FM leaders, business partners and suppliers

  • Manage supplier contracts and performance, ensuring alignment with Boeing’s standards and goals

  • Participate in strategic and operational planning to support facilities management objectives end-to-end

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading a Facilities Maintenance Team

  • 5+ years of experience teaching, coaching, and developing others

  • Experience developing and managing budgets

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience working within an industry Center of Expertise (CoE) structure

  • Experience managing day-to-day Integrated Facility Management (IFM) or supplier contracts

  • Experience managing metrics to drive data-informed decisions

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $136,850 - $185,150
