Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Associate/ Mid-Level Product Review Engineer to join the team in North Charleston, SC.  The Product Review Engineer will be an integral member of the Propulsion South Carolina production engineering team, providing engineering support to multiple programs, projects and components.  We are a team of fast-paced and eager engineers; skilled scientists and thinkers; bold innovators willing to push boundaries. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout production. 
  • Analyzes, conducts failure analysis, root cause analysis and troubleshoots to understand root cause and provides assistance to identify solutions.
  • Provides written dispositions for routine design non-conformances.
  • Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety and product/process improvements.
  • Participates in Material Review Boards and Integration Product Teams (IPTs). 
  • Ensures suppliers and build partners comply with Boeing standards.
  • Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment. 
  • Recommends non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards. 
  • Conducts static strength analysis to validate interim design repairs meet original design loads criteria. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Current or previous member of the Materials Review Board (MRB).

Pay Range Summary:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Associate Level: $85,000 – $115,000

Mid-Level: $103,700 - $140,300
