Boeing Brand Experiences (BBE), Boeing Future of Flight (BFoF) is seeking an Associate Training and Content Specialist to support Boeing’s growing tour and facilitated experiences portfolio. This role is based on-site at the Mukilteo, WA facility and will report to the Tour Operations Manager, and work closely with BBE Marketing and Communications Manager and General Manager of Boeing Future of Flight.

As a world-renowned public facility and one of Puget Sound’s most popular tourist attractions, Boeing Future of Flight typically welcomes more than 300,000 visitors every year to experience tours of the Everett factory along with a 26,000 square foot Gallery of interactive and educational exhibits showcasing a wide range of aerospace innovation and STEM learning concepts. Experiences also include private events and public programs featuring Boeing themed concepts.

The Training and Content Specialist will oversee the training infrastructure for BFoF and act as primary script writer for all tours and facilitated programs. Scripted content includes the world-famous public Everett Factory Tour, onsite and virtual presentations branded as Boeing Backstage Pass that are delivered to internal or external audiences, Boeing business (VIP) tours, and interactive experiences in the Future of Flight Gallery. This role will develop and administer training programs for the Visitor Relations team and act as focal for delivering high quality, engaging public presentations for brand ambassadors. This role will work collaboratively with other members of Boeing Communications and Brand as well as BBE leadership to obtain updated enterprise information and approved key messages to integrate in public and internal tours and experiences. Enhancing our team’s ability to represent Boeing through inspiring storytelling and innovative performance is a primary focus for this role.

Position Responsibilities:

Content Development:

  • Create script content for all tour and facilitated experiences including public and specialty Boeing Future of Flight tours, Boeing Backstage Pass programs, Boeing Business (VIP) tour programs, and interactive exhibits.
  • Supply supplemental information for audience Q&A and work with Communications to provide timely updates on emerging issues.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners in Communications, Brand Management and BBE to obtain and integrate accurate product and site information and enterprise key messaging.
  • Create digital content such as PPTs, infographics, and interactive media to complement training materials and enhance engagement.

Training and Experience Delivery:

  • Develop training program for BFoF organization including templates and documentation designed to create an end-to-end training infrastructure.
  • Develop and deliver tour guide training for public tour script and presentation skill building. Track training completion and content accountability for all Tour Guides.
  • Work closely with onsite leadership to manage training schedules to meet seasonal operational requirements and new product implementation.
  • Develop and instruct audience engagement best practices to optimize brand experiences.
  • Support development and implementation of new experiences as directed by leadership. Act as SME and key stakeholder on projects with scripted content development.
  • Participate in Tour Guide interview process as requested.

Strategic thinking and project management:

  • Ability to analyze feedback and training metrics to assess the effectiveness of scripts, training programs and make data-driven improvements.
  • Gather and assess visitor feedback to enhance programs as appropriate.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate brings:

  • Experience writing or editing scripts with input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in storyboarding for training videos or presentations to ensure a coherent flow of information and engagement.
  • Skills in adapting content for different audiences and formats, including virtual and in-person training sessions and presentations.
  • Expertise in training and facilitation programs for a diverse team; seeks best practices across industry.
  • Support for cross-functional, collaborative environments that deliver high-quality Boeing standards.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience using technology to develop and manage content creation and approvals, including familiarity with digital collaboration tools and version control best practices
  • 1+ years of experience developing training materials and presentations
  • 1+ years of experience in team training
  • Ability to perform physical requirements including extended periods of walking, standing, and steps within indoor and outdoor environments
  • Weekend and evening availability to accommodate training schedules as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Education or experience in corporate branding
  • Education or experience with adult learning best practices
  • Prior experience with Boeing, Future of Flight, and/or tourism industry is a plus

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $77,350 - $104,650
