The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Product Security Test & Evaluation Engineer Lead to join our cyber test capability team in El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; or Long Beach, CA.

In addition to specific program responsibilities, the successful candidate will be joining the growing BT&E Product Security Engineering Capability. They will be joining a team of advanced Product Security Engineers from across the Boeing Enterprise, collaboratively developing best practices, techniques and tools, while fostering a community that enhances our ability to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior level Product Security Test Engineers.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the planning and development of cyber test events for space avionics systems.

  • Leverage software and/or systems engineering experience to build new testing tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and requirements.

  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.

  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and risk mitigation.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science  

  • 3+ years of experience in penetration testing and/or systems testing (e.g. development, integration, testing).

  • 3+ years of experience within the aerospace or avionics industry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in with avionics

  • 5+ years of experience in Network System Testing

  • 5+ years of experience in Space Systems Testing and/or Spacecraft communication/navigation systems

  • 5+ years of experience in Space Ground Systems

  • Experience in developing and executing test plans, procedures, and reports

  • Experience with embedded systems

  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for mid-level: $131,750 – $194,000

Summary pay range for senior level: $164,050 – $242,000

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
