The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) organization is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager to join the Direct Procurement and Supplier Lifecycle & Relationship Management team in Hazelwood, MO; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; or Seattle, WA

This role combines product leadership, technical credibility, and people management to drive end-to-end product outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strong product manager: owner of vision and roadmap, expert at discovery and prioritization, experienced in cross-functional delivery, and accountable for measurable business impact.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Information Technology (IT) Product Manager for two products – Direct Procurement and Supplier Lifecycle and Relationship Management:

    • Define and own a clear product vision and multi-year strategy that aligns to Product Family and Division objectives and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

    • Create and prioritize the product roadmap; translate strategy into clear outcomes, milestones, and timeboxed experiments

    • Convert customer and stakeholder needs into well-specified user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items that enable pod-based IT teams to deliver value

    • Own end-to-end product lifecycle — discovery, definition, delivery, launch, measurement, and iterative improvement — with a relentless focus on outcomes (activation, adoption, accuracy, lead time, cost-to-serve)

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive product plans and schedules, ensuring that features are delivered on time and within scope, and that they add business value

    • Maintain budget accountability; make trade-offs that maximize business value and return on investment (ROI)

    • Produce regular product progress reporting (e.g., Quarterly Business Review (QBR) memos) tied to business outcomes and adjust roadmap based on results

  • Partner with Program Management and SAP Center of Excellence to deliver Digital Transformation with SAP S/4 implementations that realize business capability roadmaps

  • Manage and grow a high-performing team of architects, functional analysts, and developers; coach product thinking, discovery practices, and delivery discipline

  • Manage supplier relationships with strategic IT partnerships to deliver and sustain product capabilities

  • Champion Boeing cultural values: constructive change leadership, accountability, continuous improvement, and secure/compliant development practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience within information technology

  • 5+ years of experience working cross functionally and/or managing external supplier relationships

  • 3+ years of experience with technical product management

  • 1+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience in the aerospace domain

  • Experience in direct procurement and/or supplier lifecycle and relationship management

  • Experience with agile product discovery and delivery frameworks, OKR-driven roadmaps, and modern product analytics tools

  • Experience managing product-level budgeting
