The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our team in Hazlewood, MO or Mesa, AZ.

This role is within the Government Estimating Center of Expertise (ECOE) as part of the Labor & Pricing Data & Tools team. The team combines estimating/finance knowledge and advanced data analytics application to develop and maintain a portfolio of tools to support all government proposal efforts.

This role involves maintaining and supporting proposal and estimating infrastructure, including Proposal Quality Review (PQR), Common Backlog Tool (CBLT) (Tableau/SQL), ProPricer (admin support), Common BOE tool suite (CBOE) (Excel/VBA), and Common Travel Estimating System (CTES), while performing data analysis and factor development. It also includes collecting, analyzing, and integrating historical data to improve forecasting and estimates, and managing website and organizational communications to ensure accurate information sharing.

Position Responsibilities:

Key tasks will include:

  • Tool development - code and data structure development in collaboration with FS&A and IT

  • Tool sustainment - provide liaison support to user, modify code, and manage controlled tool releases

  • Training - provide user training on existing tools via structured training and adhoc solutions

  • Data analysis - Analyze new data and provide standard data uploads, common reports, and expanded reporting features based on user requests

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills (i.e. Power Pivots, VBA, Statistical Functions)

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance roles

  • Experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience coordinating and communicating with external customers and across multiple functions including Finance, Supplier Management, and technical disciplines

  • Experience applying analytical or estimating capabilities

  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools (i.e. Python, Tableau, Sequel)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $96,300- $ 117,700
