Boeing Poland is currently seeking an Experienced Maintenance Planning Engineer to assist the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Optimized Maintenance Programs (OMP) to join our team in Gdansk, Poland.

The OMP team offers customer unique optimized aircraft maintenance programs engineering solutions on behalf of the Aviation Business Solutions (ABS) consulting group, providing great value to global customers, helping to minimize cost, reduce ground time, and increase airplane availability. The team leads a challenging revenue growth path with focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Apply your in-depth aviation, engineering, maintenance programs, and statistics knowledge to analyze customer’s maintenance data to extract maximum value from their maintenance program, while maintaining safety and reliability.

  • Maintain technical currency with Boeing Fleet Scheduled.

  • Maintenance programs and maintenance industry policy groups; and with Boeing Design and Certification programs, ensuring Safety and Quality of OMP products.

  • Utilize Boeing best practices to deliver on our OMP revenue contracts.

  • Requires interaction with OMP management and our OMP team of engineers.

  • Provide constructive technical input on OMP products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or related engineering experience in the aviation industry.

  • 2+ years of experience in developing aircraft maintenance programs and/or Maintenance Steering Group (MSG-3) analysis.

  • Experience in a role requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 3+ years of experience with external facing Boeing Maintenance and Engineering tools such as REDARS, MBF, Toolbox, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience with Maintenance Program Engineering (MPE) products and services.

  • 3+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance regulatory requirements.

  • 1+ years of experience with knowledge of commercial aircraft, maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices (e.g., return to service, normal duties/responsibilities, time constraints, available resources).

  • 1+ years of experience applying statistical analysis.
