Boeing Engineering Center is currently seeking an Experienced Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer to join our team in Gdansk, Poland.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop system requirements to establish system design and manage requirements in DOORS.

  • Perform design validations and verification activities, documents and resolve technical issues during testing and integration.

  • Works with cross-functional teams to define, document and manage system interfaces.

  • Develop system design documentation.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.

  • Research on technical, operational and quality issues occurred in service.

  • Product development of complex systems, from the conceptual phase through to the introduction of the new product.

  • Assesses potential safety issues related to Autoflight systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • Experience in System Engineering and technical disciplines related to Flight Control.

  • Minimum 3 years’ design experience with Autoflight systems. Knowledge of Autoflight systems operation principles.

  • Knowledge of Systems design concepts and techniques. 

  • Upper-Intermediate English level in both written and verbal is a must.


Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 5 years’ design experience with Autoflight systems.

  • Ability to perform engineering analysis of Autoflight systems using knowledge of guidance, navigation, and control theory, analysis techniques, and general knowledge of applications to aircraft.

  • Knowledge of relevant government laws and regulations impacting the functional responsibilities of the occupation.

  • Experience and familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.

  • Understanding of product safety.
