The Boeing Company is looking for an Estimating and Pricing Analyst to join our team in Fairfax, VA.

Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 2 and Level 3 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.

You will be directly involved with cost proposal development including analysis of statement of work requirements, selection of appropriate estimating methodologies, substantiation of estimates/pricing, ensuring estimating system compliance and acquiring appropriate reviews and approvals of submissions to various Government and Non-Government team members.

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work independently or as part of a team and adapt quickly to changing daily needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Receive Request for Proposal (RFP) kickoff and work with proposal teams to scope estimating needs

  • Prepare labor, cost, and material estimates and package them into auditable proposal responses

  • Develop estimates for multiple RFPs using Boeing/Argon pricing systems, Excel, and internal resources

  • Analyze cost drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation actions

  • Collaborate with proposal teams, leadership, Finance, Supplier Management, and other stakeholders

  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and occasionally to customers

  • Support negotiations and defend proposals with data-driven rationale

  • Maintain estimating tools, templates, and historical cost databases and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience preparing time, cost and/or labor estimates

  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering or a related field)

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1+ years of experience with material estimating

  • Proven understanding of United States Government (USG) Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations

  • Experience with ProPricer and CostPoint

  • Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using formulas, lookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $70,550– $95,450

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $90,100- $121,900
