Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Procurement Field Representative Manager to join our Global Field Ops-Northwest team in Everett, WA.

Lead BCA’s supplier engagement on the shop floor, directly influencing supplier performance and program outcomes. As Manager of the Procurement Field Representatives, you will develop and mentor a high‑performing team, conduct on‑site supplier capability and recovery activities, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement to ensure timely, compliant delivery of critical components. This role requires a decisive, outcomes‑oriented leader who excels in face‑to‑face stakeholder engagement and delivers measurable improvements in supplier reliability and quality.

Our team is hiring for a Level K Procurement Field Representative Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages Procurement Field Representative employees performing activities related to supplier assessment, supplier capability and ensuring suppliers deliver on time and in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
  • Team leadership: hire, coach, set objectives, and hold field reps accountable to measurable supplier performance targets
  • Supplier assessment & recovery: perform on‑site capability and health assessments, lead root‑cause investigations, and develop/monitor recovery plans with clear owners and milestones.
  • Cross‑functional communication: translate technical and schedule issues into concise, audience‑appropriate updates for suppliers, program teams, and senior leadership; lead escalations and decision forums.
  • Relationship building: cultivate trust with suppliers, engineering, operations, quality, and procurement agents to enable collaborative problem solving and supplier development.
  • Process improvement: identify and drive implementable improvements (lean, shop‑floor control, production planning) that increase supplier throughput, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Project oversight: manage supplier work‑movement and contingency projects end‑to‑end, validating tooling, configuration control, process approvals, and schedule credibility.
  • Data & metrics: define and use KPIs to prioritize issues, demonstrate impact, and continuously improve supplier performance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes
  • 5+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • 5+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Domestic and international travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree - Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office products
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
  • 5+ years in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers

Summary pay range (Level K) - $129,600 - $150,500
