The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineering K Level Manager to join the Puget Sound IE team. This is a BDS position located in Tukwila and Everett, Washington, supporting KC-46 Tanker, P-8 Poseidon, E-7, Military Delivery Center, and the Electro-Mechanical Integration Center (EMIC), along with temporary support across other BDS programs both domestic and international. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila and Everett, WA.

The Puget Sound IE team plays a critical role in supporting multiple high-visibility programs by developing and managing production planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives. As an Industrial Engineering Manager, you will collaborate closely with program, finance, and operations customers to ensure manufacturing and production goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Position Responsibilities:
• Develop and support the Industrial Engineering team.
• Manage production schedules including future planning and current recovery schedules.
• Provide Industrial Engineering support for Lean and other production improvements.
• Lead future production planning including flows, resources, estimates, flow    requirements, and metrics.
• Manage employee reviews, corrective actions, hiring, mentoring, and recognition.
• Oversee salary planning and retention exercises.
• Collaborate daily with Program Planning, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across disciplines and maintain program architecture.
• Develop and execute manufacturing plans aligned with program goals.

This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila and Everett, WA.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Production Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of Boeing Industrial Engineering experience in leadership roles, formal or informal.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience in production planning, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven leadership skills managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively with program, finance, and operations stakeholders.

Summary Pay Range: $130,900-$177,100
