Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Management is seeking an Experienced Project Management Specialist, to join the team in Dallas, TX.

This role focuses on driving operational excellence across distribution centers and logistics functions through Lean, Six Sigma, process design, and change management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives across distribution and warehouse operations to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve service levels.

  • Analyze end-to-end supply chain and material flow to identify root causes, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities using data-driven methods.

  • Design and implement standardized processes, best practices, and visual management systems across multiple sites.

  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma (DMAIC), Kaizen, 5S, and other CI methodologies; coach site teams and leaders on tools and problem solving.

  • Develop business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and implement plans for improvement projects.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through rapid improvement events, pilot implementations, and full-scale rollouts.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs (e.g., OTIF, cycle time, dock-to-stock, inventory accuracy, throughput, cost per order) and drive sustained performance improvements.

  • Support technology adoption (WMS, TMS, automation, robotics, data analytics) and ensure process alignment with systems.

  • Support training, change management, and stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels.

  • Provide regular project status reports, executive summaries, and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in continuous improvement, operations excellence, or process engineering within supply chain, distribution, or warehouse environments.

  • 2-3 years of knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and standard CI tools (value stream mapping, root cause analysis, Kaizen events, 5S).

  • Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional CI projects that produced measurable operational and financial results.

  • Proficient in data analysis and performance management, including use of Excel, SQL or analytics tools to drive decisions.

  • Excellent project management, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with operations, engineering, IT, procurement, and finance teams.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-site environments.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Aerospace industry experience or background in complex/high-compliance industries (aerospace/defense, medical device, high-tech) preferred but not required.

  • Formal certification: Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt, Lean Certification, or equivalent.

  • Experience with automation/robotics projects and continuous improvement in automated fulfillment environments.

  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS integrations, barcode/RFID systems, and digital twin or simulation tools.

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and material handling equipment is highly desirable.

Travel:

This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:    $101,150.00 - $136,850.00
