Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, Missouri.

In this role, the Program Manager will help lead the development, support and integration of the WISC in support of the F-15 Israel Program. This employee will be responsible for performing program management and integrated planning and scheduling activities and is accountable to the Program Manager for program execution performance. Having a strong background in supply chain and working in a classified environment will be key attributes for success. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure development of the F-15 Israel WISC lab is successful  
  • Lead internally focused team focused on program execution, working directly with program integrated product teams (IPT) to meet cost, schedule, quality and technical objectives and ensure customer requirements are achieved
  • Responsible for overseeing and driving execution of all key Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and ensuring coordination of deliverables, communication, and PMBP across program IPTs
  • Support program operating rhythm, CONOPS, performance management system, recovery planning and program status reporting
  • Develops strong relationships with the customer, program team and supporting functions across organizational boundaries

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Drives execution of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) on the program and ensures seamless coordination of overall work statement, deliverables, operating rhythm, and communications across the program organization.
  • Prepares, coordinates, and facilitates effective program execution; manages program baselines and the baseline change management processes; manages the program risk/issue/opportunity (RIO) process; establishes and manages program performance management reviews and coordinates use of program management tools.
  • Integrates across program teams and program-assigned functional leaders by coordinating program management activities including establishing and maintaining a collaborative environment for the program, resolving cross-functional (or cross-team) issues, and ensuring overall program performance execution objectives are achieved.
  • Establishes and maintains a program operating rhythm to include recurring program performance and management reviews and ensures adherence to business and enterprise processes including Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) execution and facilitating help needed requests, root cause corrective action, and lessons learned capture and dissemination across the business.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes, affordability and RIO management
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 5 years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • More than 3 years of experience in Program Management or IPT Leadership including cost, schedule and technical management
  • More than 3 years of experience in implementation of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Lean+/10X

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders
  • More than 3 years of experience in program or project management
  • More than 5 years of experience with Supplier/Contracts/Program Management practices and processes
  • More than 5 years of experience working with customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries (e.g., planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $151,300 - $186,900
