We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP Basis and HANA Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our SAP landscape, including S/4HANA systems, upgrades, migrations, and cloud deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise across SAP Basis, HANA database administration, SBOP/BODS upgrade/Administration, system refreshes, and system performance optimization, with exposure to Microsoft Azure and Cloud ALM. 


This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.


Position Responsibilities:

•    Manage and administer SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PO, SBOP, BODS, and Solution Manager.
•    Plan and execute end-to-end S/4HANA upgrades, SBOP upgrades, ECC → S/4HANA migrations, and SUM/DMO activities.
•    Perform SAP HANA database administration: backup/recovery, performance tuning, and space management.
•    Conduct system refreshes, client copies, and routine housekeeping across SAP landscapes.
•    Configure and maintain SAP Router, Web Dispatcher, and Cloud ALM integration.
•    Monitor system health, performance, and availability using SAP Solution Manager and Cloud ALM.
•    Ensure IT security and compliance: patching, kernel upgrades, user and authorization administration.
•    Coordinate landscape planning, cutovers, and issue resolution with functional and infrastructure teams.
•    Support disaster recovery planning and testing and participate in audits.
•    Maintain documentation and system architecture diagrams and document operational procedures.
•    Manage SBOP certificate renewals and integrations with S/4HANA systems.
•    Perform daily support tasks for SBOP and BODS environments.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•    A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
•    Deep understanding of SAP architecture and operational best practices.
•    Proven experience in system landscape configuration and operations.
•    Strong capacity management skills to handle peak workloads (e.g., year-end, quarter-end).
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
•    Ability to evaluate options, propose solutions, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

•    SAP Certified Technology Associate
•    Microsoft Azure certification or equivalent practical experience
•    Knowledge of automation tools
•    Familiarity with SAP BTP and SAP Landscape Management (LaMa)


Typical Education & Experience:

•    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor), 12 to 16 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

•    This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
