This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

The Functional SQE Team works with Software Quality engineers from all teams within Enterprise Software to support a multitude of software quality lifecycle related activities.  Including admin support for quality tools and any related technology support.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Supports design, development, analysis, and maintenance of SQE (Software Quality Engineering) systems that meet industry, customer, and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards.

  • Quality tool user admin by partnering with appropriate stakeholders to maintain and update SQE tools through admin support, report setup, tool updates, checklists and other.

  • Performs enterprise level activities like supporting new tool development for SQE through testing and UAT, dashboard support and analysis of SQE metrics

  • Monitors, reviews and updates Enterprise SQE Design practices in compliance with DO 178C, AS9100 D and other relevant Aerospace standards and guidelines.

  • Develops user documentation and training to educate end users about usage of software quality engineering products.

  • Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations that impact Software Quality Organization.

  • Performs software project management activities for core functional team..

  • Bring out ideas to improve SQE products and processes.

  • Performs Internal audits of program SQE compliance to quality framework.

  • Support collection, edits and prepping SQE body of knowledge documents for AI Tool.

  • Partner with AI team on SQE AI Virtual Coach tool.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • A Bachelor’s/ Master's degree (B.tech/M.tech) or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • Experience supporting Software development that is regulated by FAA or other standards including DO-178 and ensuring the records produced during the software life-cycle are adequate and controlled such that they will successfully support formal flight Certification.

  • Experience with AS9100D, CMMI or other Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

  • Experience in supporting Software development using the Agile framework

  • Experience evaluating software requirements against quality attributes and verifying the management/tracing of those requirements through product realization.

  • Experience with establishing and managing metrics related to SQE or Software development activities.

  • Knowledge of the Software Configuration Management process including software identification, baseline management, change control, and status accounting.

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Technical bachelor's degree and typically 4+ years related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3+ Year's. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in Computer Science,  Information technology, mathematics, scientific.
