Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the Workforce Planning and Development fabrication training team in Everett and Auburn Washington.

This position will report to the Senior manager of fabrication training. A Senior Project Manager on the Fabrication Training team leads the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs supporting fabrication operations. This role manages cross-functional training project, ensures on-time delivery, maintains training quality and compliance, and partners with operations, safety, and HR to align workforce capability with production needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of training projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk), including course development, pilot deliveries, and scale-up into recurring curricula.
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders (operations leads, engineering, QA, safety, procurement, HR) to align priorities and resources.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, status reports, and governance artifacts; run regular project reviews and steering meetings.
  • Ensure training programs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards; support audits and accreditation activities.
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation for training delivery (capacity, resource gaps, equipment downtime).
  • Mentor and coach project leads, instructional designers, and instructors on project execution and change management best practices.
  • Define and track KPIs for training project success and training program effectiveness (time-to-certify, pass rates, utilization).
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons-learned, ROI analysis, and standardization of templates and processes.

  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
  • Must be able to access fabrication floors and  training labs.
  • Occasional travel between facilities or to vendor sites may be required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours if needed
  • Demonstrated ability to control and deliver project deliverables on time.
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required organizational skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects
  • Prior experience in aerospace or defense fabrication environments
  • Change management and facilitation skills; able to influence without direct authority.
  • Analytical problem-solving and decision-making under uncertainty.
  • Experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
  • 5+ years of experience communicating with employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in Aerospace
  • Experience with Data Analytic tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, including managing multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to support, lead, and delegate the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle

Summary pay range:

Level 4: $122,850 - $132,800
