Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company. Interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure quality parts are delivered, to the right place, at the right time
  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities.
  • Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Manages contractual agreements, negotiate terms and conditions, interact with legal counsel.
  • Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Ability to take big data, analyze and summarize for executive presentations
  • Team player, collaboration with multi-functional groups

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of MRP Systems, SAP preferred
  • Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Preferred public speaking
  • Excellent Data analysis skills a plus
  • Knowledge/experience with/in manufacturing and manufacturing process a plus
  • High energy, dynamic personality with an ability to effect change

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain or other relevant course of study preferred. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering/technical drawings
  • Knowledge of composite manufacturing process.
  • Understanding the special qualification processes and Boeing specifications of aircraft parts.
  • Strong analytical background with cost/price estimating in the aviation industry
