Key Accountabilities:

  • Define the execution strategy for industrialization of manufacturing solutions enabling quality or process improvement within the production system
  • Lead cross-functional teams through successful technology or product deployment while maintaining organizational expectations of scope, cost, and timeline
  • Proactive identification, mitigation, resolution, or elevation of risks impacting project implementation
  • Drive consensus on technical decisions while encouraging collaboration and commitment across multiple functions with competing priorities
  • Digest, author and publish standard work documentation as defined policies and procedures for process governance
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, partners, and peers within the Research and Development, Engineering, Tooling, Operations, Quality, IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance organizations
  • Utilize a systems-thinking approach to develop creative solutions for complex problems
  • Employ a variety of communication styles to ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction through project updates, including presentations to senior leadership
  • Establish consistent alignment between the organizational goals and expectations with the cross-functional working team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • 0-2 years of related experience in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of Industrial Engineering tools including project management, production systems, flow and capacity analysis, manufacturing methods, statistical analysis, and lean manufacturing
  • Knowledge of IE Tools used in production including capacity analysis, theory of constraints, waste elimination, production improvements
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and project teams with a continuous improvement focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specializing in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar manufacturing industry
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Expertise in Data Analysis and Visualization
  • Strong capabilities in transitioning from the project visionary phase to execution
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict management
