Description:

This is a vendor management analyst position within the IT Operations and Governance organization.  This position has vendor infrastructure service delivery oversight and relationship management responsibilities, primarily for server & hosting services, backups, alert monitoring, and data center maintenance.  The successful candidate will partner with our IT services provider to ensure available and reliable IT infrastructure services for hosting and storage, data center, and Level 1 monitoring.  The successful candidate will collaborate and coordinate with the vendor tower leader and team, review tower performance to SLA’s, backlog of service requests and incidents, ensure technology upgrade roadmaps are understood, ensure appropriate data center protocols and maintenance is followed, support appropriate vendor team member onboarding and accesses, review, plan, and represent requests for maintenance, budgets, and leases, act as an escalation point, and proactively coordinate with other infrastructure or application tower leaders where appropriate.   

The preferred candidate for this role will have prior experience with vendor partnership and delivery management, a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure,  team communication and prior leadership experience, be able to communicate both written and verbally across the organization and levels in a professional manner. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with outsourced services providers to ensure IT infrastructure services meet standards, meets or exceeds SLA’s, implement process improvements, resolve escalations, and set priorities as needed
  • Work within the established vendor management governance framework
  • Monitor backlog and address for mitigation
  • Ensure representation regarding IT outages or issues
  • Remove roadblocks or escalate, as appropriate
  • Ensure appropriate data center protocols and maintenance are followed
  • Ensure technology upgrade roadmaps are understood
  • Support appropriate vendor team member onboarding and accesses,
  • Review, plan, and represent requests for maintenance, budgets, leases and renewals
  • Proactively coordinate with other infrastructure or application tower leaders where appropriate.  

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Must be onsite at the Wichita facility
  • Vendor performance and relationship management experience
  • HS Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sourcing and negotiation experience
  • Bachelor of Science in related IT discipline
