Job Title: Warehouse Operations Specialist

Position Overview

The Supply Chain function at Boeing Sheffield, a Boeing Fabrication site that is part of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), are looking to hire an experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist.

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods within our facility. You will be responsible for picking and issuing materials for production, managing inventory through compliance checks, and coordinating the shipping and receiving of parts and hardware.

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Production Support: Pick and issue materials for production orders to Operations and Quality Control, ensuring production schedule requirements are met.

  • Inventory Management: Receipt and manage Raw Material and Finished Goods inventory, including compliance checks and stock record management.

  • Shipping and Receiving: Process and ship parts and hardware to internal and external customers, including packaging, labelling, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and controls.

  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and compliance to policies and procedures.

  • Quality Control: Conduct identification and damage checks on incoming and outgoing shipments, resolving discrepancies and escalating critical issues as needed.

  • Logistics Coordination: Serve as the point of contact for shipments, coordinating with internal and external customers and interfacing with compliance organizations regarding export control issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in a warehouse or provisioning environment.

  • Forklift Truck license.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Proficient user of SAP and/or Apriso in a logistics/warehouse environment.

  • First Aid in the Workplace training.

  • IOSH Managing Safely.

  • Experience working in an AS9100 aerospace workplace.

Typical Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in a warehouse or provisioning environment.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll
