The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Training & Simulation Digital Services team are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Supplier Project Engineer to join the team designing and delivering commercial flight simulator data packages to industry. This role is located in Seattle, WA.

This role will partner with engineering team members and supplier management to drive standardization and management of technical requirements for supplier deliverables essential to our customer products. This role will work on simulation deliverables across all Boeing airplane programs and be responsible for leading Boeing’s technical supplier strategy to improve services and quality.

The role requires supplier management and technical project domain knowledge. The successful candidate will have a collaborative mindset with demonstrated experience working in matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams.

As a Senior Supplier Project Engineer your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the technical lead for assigned suppliers across development, production, and sustaining phases of all Boeing Simulator Packages.
  • Translate simulator package program requirements into supplier work scope, verification methods, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead supplier technical reviews, design reviews, process audits, and supplier readiness activities.
  • Monitor supplier performance (quality, schedule, cost, technical compliance); develop and drive corrective action plans.
  • Support supplier selection and capability assessments; evaluate supplier proposals and technical approaches.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between Simulator Engineering, BGS Supplier Management and BCA Supplier Management to ensure coordinated procurement activities leveraging and integrating with BCA master supplier contracts were applicable
  • Resolve complex engineering issues affecting supplier deliverables; escalate when appropriate.
  • Ensure supplier deliverables meet Boeing Simulator Package and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain supplier risk assessments; implement mitigation strategies to protect program schedules.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of supplier requirements, performance metrics, and compliance status, and prepare management reports.
  • Prepare and present status briefings, technical reports, and supplier performance summaries to leadership.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-direction and initiative.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • 8+ years of experience leading technical projects and managing technical data content and configuration.
  • Desire to work with technical requirements documentation, statements of work, and supplier contracts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience working with requirements for aircraft systems and/or avionics.
  • Knowledge of requirements management processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of supplier contracts and contractual language.
  • Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Senior-Level Summary Pay Range: $ 122,400- $165,600
