The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Functional Analyst working on SAP Shipping and Transportation Management (STM) to join the team in Seattle, WA; Dallas, TX; Long Beach, CA; Miami, FL; North Charleston, SC; Berkeley, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.   

The Functional Analyst will focus on the implementation and support of SAP projects based on S4 Hana technology. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including business, solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and gathers business requirements

  • Performs fit-gap analysis and identifies the custom development to meet the business requirements

  • Accounts for successful delivery of SAP TM process deliverables

  • Provides solutions to the business requirements in SAP Transportation Management (TM) functional areas including advanced shipping and receiving based Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) integration, Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) integration, transportation planning and optimization, Global Trade System (GTS) integration, TM integration with third party systems, and transportation reporting

  • Designs and implements business processes using best practices during a full lifecycle implementation of SAP TM; collaborating with business users to design, develop, test, train, and implement the solution

  • Manages business requirement documentation, implement configurations, localize business processes, develop functional/technical specifications, create or modify batch jobs, and write test scripts by collaborating with application specialists

  • Identifies content and development requirements for process and system training which includes updating existing materials and developing new materials by liaising with the technical team

  • Resolves issues by working with both business leaders and technical support personnel

  • Develops and tests system functionality by building strong working relationships with business partners, management, and other team members

  • Develops training documents for users, trains other team members, and collaborates with the team to meet project deadlines

  • Develops enhanced objects on TM business objects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 8+ years of experience with SAP TM

  • Experience with 2 global implementation projects

  • Experience with international trade compliance regulations, customs procedures, and trade finance

  • Experience with the integration of SAP SD, MM, EHS, FI and SAP GTS

  • Experience gathering application specific project requirements

  • Experience with SAP module specifics including user exits, batch jobs, and standard SAP reports

  • Experience with Supply Chain business models and Fiori UI

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry

  • SAP Certifications in SAP TM

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $159,850
