The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Product Strategy & Governance Senior Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; El Segundo, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Oklahoma City, OK; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; or Ridley Park, PA.

As a Senior Manager in our Cloud and Developer Platforms organization, you will be instrumental in building a world-class capability that sets us apart as a leader in cloud innovation. Bringing deep expertise in cloud technologies and platforms, you will lead global, cross-functional teams to foster a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and creativity. As a visionary leader, you will drive the development of end-to-end solutions that enhance the resilience, security, and scalability of our cloud services.

This role demands a strategic mindset paired with disciplined execution to keep our platforms aligned with industry’s best practices and ahead of emerging trends. You will define cloud strategy, establish standards, and ensure robust governance across multi-cloud environments, aligning technology investments with business goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the enterprise cloud and developer services portfolio, ensuring offerings are well-differentiated, consumable, and aligned with strategic business needs.

  • Lead creation of multi-year roadmaps and investment strategies in partnership with architecture, engineering and FinOps

  • Lead governance forums to align business units, security, and platform teams

  • Ensure policies, risk management, and compliance standards are applied consistently across Cloud Service Providers (CSPs)

  • Partner with senior Information Technology (IT) and business stakeholders to drive cloud adoption aligned with enterprise priorities

  • Track industry and CSP trends to guide roadmap evolution

  • Lead creation of multi-year product and investment roadmaps in partnership with architecture, engineering, operations, and FinOps

  • Integrate governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, FedRAMP, ITAR, etc.) into product strategy to ensure secure, auditable, and policy-aligned platforms

  • Develop and maintain guardrails and product policies that balance agility, security, compliance, and customer needs

  • Collaborate with FinOps & Compliance to establish consumption, pricing, showback/chargeback, and value realization models

  • Oversee service lifecycle management, including the introduction, adoption, and retirement of platform services

  • Define and monitor success metrics (adoption, compliance posture, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction); report regularly to leadership

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud strategy, product management, or IT service management

  • 10+ years of experience with multi-cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), including sovereign or regulated cloud models

  • 10+ years of experience with governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, NIST)

  • 8+ years of experience in influencing at senior leadership level and individual contributor level

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within cloud strategy, product management, or IT service management

  • 5+ years of experience with project management and tracking

  • 5+ years of experience delivering Enterprise products and services in a high growth environment

  • 5+ years of experience coordinating complex product development cycles

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field

  • Experience working within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)

  • Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate delivery of cloud services and capabilities

  • Experience with large scale project management

  • Experience with Agile/SAFe delivery models and ability to translate roadmaps into epics and features

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $162,350 – $251,850
