The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; or Renton, WA

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Manager in Enterprise Business Systems, where you will take the lead in overseeing our Supply Chain Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Product Family. In this influential role, you will be a key player within our Information Digital Technology and Security organization, driving initiatives that enhance our supply chain operations.

As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that optimize demand forecasting and supply planning processes, ensuring that our material resources are effectively managed to meet business needs. Your leadership will be essential in fostering collaboration across teams and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in our supply chain management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IT Product Family Manager for Supply Chain Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning and MRP as well as the Product Manager for Production Demand Supply Planning & Scheduling

  • Oversee the development and management of a portfolio of related products within an IDT&S division

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to guide products from conception to launch, including product marketing, sales, and customer support

  • Deliver and maintain products within budget and on time

  • Engage directly with the end customers and will be accountable for driving business value in a timely and cost-effective manner

  • Ensure consistent product design and delivery across their product family

  • Identify and prioritize business needs, de-risking product development, monitoring product family performance, and mentoring, developing, and evaluating product managers

  • Set the overall product vision and strategy, creates and owns the product roadmap, and drives focus on the vision of the product while aligning it with company objective

  • Translate customer needs into well-specified user stories, enabling pod-based software developers to build solutions

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product plans and roadmaps, ensuring that features are delivered on time and within scope, and that they add business value

  • Own end-to-end product development, from inception to production and maintenance

  • improves a product through iterative sprints to fulfil vision and end user needs by incorporating feedback from end users

  • Manage key priorities and maintains the backlog,  collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the product’s strategy and roadmap are aligned to the Product Family/Division strategy and OKRs

  • Create, measure, and report product progress against product OKRs via QBR memos

  • Manages the product budget and its profit and loss (P&L)

  • Partner with Program Management and SAP Center of Excellence to deliver SAP S/4 implementation projects

  • Guide product family capabilities toward Digital Transformation roadmap via business relationships and executing to business capability roadmaps

  • Lead suppliers as key IT partnerships to deliver and maintain application capabilities

  • Member of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), and Boeing Global Services - Government (BGS-G) Supply Chain Systems Leadership Team contributing to the strategic objectives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience in internal or external supply chain

  • 10+ years of experience working cross-functionally across multiple product development disciplines

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and manufacturing planning

  • 5+ years of experience developing and managing global team

  • 5+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field

  • Experience in aerospace and/or automotive industry

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $186,150 – $251,850
