Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Quality Products & Services Manager (Level K) to support the Air Operator Certificate (Part 125).

Boeing is looking for a candidate to join the Boeing 125 Air Operator team.  This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of a diverse multi-functional team that oversees and manages The Boeing Company’s 125 Air Operator Certificate (AOC).  The 125 AOC is a Global operation with multiple aircraft types on the certificate.  If you enjoy working on various airframes, worldwide operations, and collaborating with multiple functions to include the FAA, come join our team.

We are seeking an individual who can hold the position of Airworthiness Releaser (AWR) for the CFR 14 Part 125 operating certificate. The Airworthiness Releaser (AWR) reports directly to the Director of Maintenance (DOM) and administratively to the General Manager and the Director of Operations (DOO) for the general management of the Part 125 Organization.

Once authorized, an airworthiness releaser will inspect and release aircraft under their Airframe and Powerplant certificate, to include the inspection and induction of aircraft on to the Operator Certificate.

Position Responsibilities:

Airworthiness

  • Airframe and Powerplant certificate

  • Authorized by the part 125 to perform duties as an airworthiness releaser and representative of the certificate with the FAA, BCA, BGS and MRO/Suppliers.

  • Coach and enforce Boeing safety culture at the MRO/Suppliers

  • React to a dynamic international and domestic travel schedules by utilizing self-built itineraries and self-manage international travel reporting requirements

  • Technical knowledge on multiple airframes required (i.e. 737MAX and 787) to include troubleshooting and providing repair advice to MRO/Suppliers

  • Coordinate ground support at multiple airports thru MROs, FBOs and suppliers

  • Provide daily aircraft status reports at the director, flight operations and team levels

  • Coordinate, request and provide logistics support for aircrew, system operators, analysts and weight engineers

  • Brief and de-brief aircrew and participate in re-fly and re-work decisions

  • Provide weight and balance data in support of remote weight manifest(s) issuance

  • Ensure MRO/Suppliers adhere to the planned SOW and approve emergent work for the certificate

Certificate Management

  • Interact with the Part 125’s FAA Certificate Management Office (CMO) at the field working level, to include escorting and providing FAA access to Part 125 aircraft and records at delivery centers and MRO/Supplier sites

  • Have working knowledge of foreign national aviation administrations, bilateral(s), MIP(s), ANNEX(s) and IMP(s)

  • Review and audit MRO/Supplier maintenance records for compliance and adherence to the part 125 program and the MRO/Suppliers policies

  • Combine and provide BCA record department the Part 125 and MRO/Supplier maintenance records

  • Perform Part 125 aircraft safety and compliance inspections and record reviews for induction and continued airworthiness

  • Ensure that the aircraft is operating under customer demonstration flight rules and listed on FAA issued A511 Letter of Deviation Authority (LODA)

  • Comply and ensure that maintenance entities comply with the Part 125’s Airplane Network Security Program (ANSP)

  • Comply with the Part 125 Cargo and Dangerous Goods programs including but not limited to those set forth within Parts 49 of the Federal Aviation Regulations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Airframe and Powerplant certificate

  • 5+ years of experience with 14 CFR parts 91, 145, 121 and 125

  • 5+ years of flight line experience and/or MRO to include releasing of aircraft

  • High working knowledge of the AMM, IPC, SRM, WDM, IFIM, etc.

  • Working knowledge of Dispatch Deviation Guides (MEL, CDL)

  • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

  • Able to travel and react to shifting schedules

  • Maintenance Familiarization Courses (current minimum is 737 and 787)

  • Listed on or could be listed on the Boeing Repair Station Roster

Shift:

This position is being staffed to provide coverage for 1st shift. The selected candidate must be willing to work overtime and alternate shifts as required based on the needs of the operation.

Summary Range: $115,600 - $156,400
