The Boeing Global Talent, Development & Employee Experience organization is seeking a highly skilled Experienced Employee Assessment Specialist to join the Assessment Science team in Seattle, WA. This role is critical in supporting the administration and operations of employee assessments and feedback processes, including executive assessments, 360-degree feedback, and other evaluation methodologies.

The assessment specialist will play a key role in ensuring effective evaluation processes that support talent selection, leadership development, and performance improvement initiatives, leveraging strong project management skills to facilitate successful execution and collaboration with stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the execution and operational management of employee assessments and feedback processes, including defining project scope, developing timelines, managing resources, and ensuring that deliverables meet established quality standards. Coordinate multiple initiatives effectively to achieve organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Management: Serve as a primary point of contact between the Assessments team, external assessment partners, assessment participants, and key business stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and alignment on assessment processes and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to refine assessment methodologies and enhance overall effectiveness. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and garner support for talent development initiatives.
  • Assessment Execution: Oversee, manage and participate in the implementation of employee assessments and feedback processes, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Ensure that all assessments are conducted efficiently and effectively, adhering to best practices.
  • Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and support to colleagues on the use of assessment tools and feedback processes. Address and resolve technical issues related to assessment administration and data collection to ensure seamless operations.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage escalations related to assessment operations, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Insights and Development: Utilize insights from organizational psychology to assist leaders in evolving, gaining deeper self-awareness, and making informed decisions. Contribute to the development of leadership frameworks and team effectiveness models.
  • Internal Coordination: Engage with assessment participants to effectively schedule assessments, ensuring timely communication and logistical arrangements. Collaborate with assessment providers and stakeholders to manage calendars and facilitate smooth participation in assessments.
  • External Coordination: Collaborate with external suppliers to deliver in-person feedback services when necessary, ensuring alignment with the culture and language of assessment participants.
  • Travel up to 20% to other Boeing sites.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in employee assessment administration and feedback processes
  • Technical experience with assessment platforms and tools (e.g. Hogan Assessments, Raven's Progressive Matrices, etc.) and 360-degree feedback methodologies
  • Experience utilizing assessment methodologies and best practices
  • Experience designing and implementing assessment frameworks that align with organizational leadership goals and competencies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in employee assessment administration and feedback processes
  • Proficiency in at least one statistical program (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS, or Python) with a focus on advanced statistical analysis relevant to employee assessments and feedback
  • Strong analytical skills, exceptional organization, and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in evaluating leadership competencies and assessment outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and diverse teams across the organization
  • Experience working with external suppliers to enhance assessment delivery and feedback processes
  • Experience coaching senior leaders and facilitating talent development discussions, ideally within a corporate environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300
