Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a SeniorTransportation Analyst to support Global Warehousing and Logistics in SeaTac, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and guides others on statement of work and independently represents transportation and logistics to internal/external organizations.

  • Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new processes, tools and techniques for Transportation Analysts.

  • Responsible for documenting, implementing and maintaining team improvements.

  • Investigates and performs root cause analysis on complex compliance and logistics initiatives and recommends best practice solutions relating to transportation and logistics practices, processes and procedures.

  • Supports investigations of matters under review.

  • Identifies, develops and implements corrective measures.

  • Integrates related information to identify and implement opportunities for business solutions.

  • Executes complex freight transactions, analysis and assessments that ensure compliance with Federal and Regulatory Agency guidelines.

  • Coordinates and leads a variety of internal process reviews, audit/assessment activities and support services including freight bill audit and related activities, contracts management and negotiations team functions and dangerous goods certifications.

  • Develops and recommends changes to new or existing corporate command media and process management procedures.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Domestic and International Supply Chain Logistics

  • 5+ years of experience working with export compliance or international programs

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite

  • Experience in a role that required strong communication skills, written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Previous experience operating in SAP Software

  • Previous handling of Hazardous Material shipment is desirable

  • Previous experience in U.S import compliance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: 100,300 - 135,700
