Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Product Review Engineers - Service Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to support our Airframe Customer Support Engineering, located in Seal Beach, California.

As a Product Review Engineer, you will play a critical role in resolving structural issues for in-service aircraft, providing expert support to end-users in a customer-focused environment. You will collaborate closely with the Aerospace Integrated Product Team (IPT) to develop and document structural repair dispositions and ensure all data meets Boeing, customer, and regulatory standards for continued airworthiness and mission readiness.

Our dedicated engineering team supports a global fleet of over 14,000 aircraft, partnering with customers worldwide to maintain the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact fleet performance and contribute to sustaining operational excellence across diverse aerospace platforms.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Product Review Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.

  • Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis, and develops dispositions for structural non-conformances and damage.

  • Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customers, and designs interim and final engineering solutions.

  • Identifies, analyzes, and documents reported problems, and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution.

  • Develops and implements product/process improvements.

  • Supports Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews.

  • Represents the engineering community in the build through post-production environment.

  • Ensures compliance with Boeing standards.

  • Develops non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.

  • Conducts simple static strength analysis.

  • Willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule and the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends or overtime.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering.

  • 5+ years of experience in structures engineering.

  • Willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule and the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends or overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3 + years of experience working with MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures.

  • Engineering leadership experience.

  • Experience supporting end-users in a customer service role.

  • Experience working transport category airplane certification or production/fleet support projects involving FAA approval.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for experienced (Level 3): $96,050 – $129,950

Summary pay range for senior (level 4): $120,700 – $163,300
