Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Cabin and Features Marketing Specialist to join the Cabin and Features Marketing team in Renton, Washington.  

As a member of the BCA Commercial Marketing Cabin and Features Marketing team, you will be responsible for understanding the business and technical elements of an airplane feature and then based on your understanding of customers and their operations, successfully build a business case and market the value of the feature with the customer. Additionally, this role will support cabin-focused efforts in the marketplace, concentrating on connectivity, sustainability, and accessibility across all Boeing commercial airplanes. This includes developing strategies, creating content, representing the company at industry events, and championing customer-centric initiatives.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working across multiple business units and levels. In addition, they will be versatile and comfortable with responsibility across features and cabin work statement, often interacting with internal engineering and development teams and external partners. The candidate will act on their own initiative, thrive in collaborative settings, and be highly detail oriented with excellent visual, verbal communication, and people-skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build connections across the enterprise (e.g. Product Development, Product Strategy, Customer Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to achieve maximum feature value for customers

  • Create awareness and enhance communication of feature sources of value to enable customers to make more informed feature selections

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements and related topics relevant to customer

  • Develop and present customized cabin and feature materials, broader market trends, persuasive presentations and innovative marketing tools to convey value benefits of Boeing's offering to a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Drive thought leadership activities

  • Aggregate & distribute feedback on customer sources of value and future cabin and feature needs

  • Develop analysis to support customized tailored business solutions (bundles, discounts, etc.) and integrated fleet solutions

  • Develop integrated go-to-market plans for new features

  • Lead voice-of-customer engagements to gain valuable insight on new features or concepts in development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence others to support decisions

  • Drive analysis and draw strategic conclusions for key decisions and tradeoffs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Renton, Washington.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 3+ years of experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

  • 2+ years of experience communicating and presenting with the ability to effectively convey complex information to global audiences

  • 2+ years of experience in complex business planning and crafting strategies for implementation

  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Level 4: 7+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • Experience collaborating, problem solving, and influencing decisions without authority

  • Experience working with sales and marketing of engineering/technical products

  • Understanding of aviation sector, airline operations, and sources of customer value related to Boeing products and services

  • Experience working with financials and Net Present Value (NPV) valuation

  • Foreign language skill is a plus

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:

Experienced (Level 3): $107,100 - $140,000

Senior (Level 4): $138,550 - $180,000
