We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Agent to join our Supply Chain team. This role is based 100% onsite, in our Port Melbourne office.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including Sourcing and selecting suppliers, preparing and executing short term and long-term contracts and contract negotiations as well as contract lifecycle management.
  • Develop and execute category strategies and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Prepare required reporting and analysis to deliver expected outcomes
  • Implement Supplier management and procurement best practice ensuring compliance with internal processes
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Tertiary Education (Bachelors equivalent) in Supply Chain, Commerce, Law or Business
  • Experience in full contract lifecycle procurement is essential, ideally in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • Experience in end to end contract placement and management
  • Effective problem solving, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience developing positive internal and external relationships
  • High level competency in written and oral communication and standard business tools and systems (MS Office, Excel and SAP or similar ERP system preferred)

Additional Information:
This is a Non EBA IJC HAACI3 position.  The successful candidate will be required to complete a 6-month probationary period.

You must hold full, unrestricted working rights to be considered for this role.
