The Boeing Global Services Customer Relations Exhibition and Trade Show team is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist (Exhibit Management) professional who will plan and coordinate Boeing Global Services’ participation in industry trade and air shows utilizing extensive event and exhibit planning skills and knowledge.  This role will primarily oversee all details and logistics for assigned events, including, booking space and onsite event management to achieve business objectives, while maintaining focus on the design, layout and cost associated with the Boeing brand in the market. This role can be in Seattle WA or Plano TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans and coordinates multiple complex customer visits/events exhibit trade shows, air shows, product demonstrations and evaluations, utilizing extensive knowledge of U.S. and foreign government regulations, international cultures and customs, company policies and procedures based on strategic business objectives.
  • Manages event/exhibit planning meetings and communications with business development/marketing/sales. Anticipates requirements and makes recommendations (e.g., date, geographic location, venue, participants/products and budget).
  • Organizes and manages a multi-disciplined team (e.g., facilities, marketing/communications, graphics, security and transportation, etc.) to implement the plan.
  • Continuously collect, integrate and proactively disseminate information to all stakeholders to ensure adherence to the plan. Increased exposure to and support of senior executives to include briefings, sharing the plan and develop the executive air show/event schedule.
  • Based on customer requirements (e.g., budget, group size, format, site accessibility, aesthetics and A/V requirements, etc.), research and evaluate potential venues (including site inspections) and make recommendations of preferred venue or site to customer.
  • Strengthens internal and external customer and supplier network.
  • Provides direction to others for successful completion of tasks.
  • Implements logistics for complex and/or highly visible visits/events in accordance with company policies and procedures, branding compliance, business courtesies, protocol and U.S. and foreign government guidelines.
  • Applies extensive knowledge of customer's customs and cultures in all aspects of the visit/event, provides sound advice and recommendations and takes action.
  • Manages the team in administering the agreed to plan and all logistical aspects of the visit/event. Provides on-site management of resources for visit/event. Facilitates process improvements based on in-depth analysis of feedback.
  • Provides guidance to the work group on process improvement matters.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in event/trade show management
  • Ability to work efficiently in a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with all internal and external business partners
  • Budget management to ensure cost and requirements are met

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in exhibit design in order to produce aesthetic products that display originality and creativity that meet brand requirements
  • Experience with event planning and registration software platforms
  • Knowledge of negotiation and contracting processes
  • Flexibility for domestic and international travel as needed

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $106,250.00-$143,750.00
