Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Project Management Specialist to join our Legacy Tankers KC-135 team in Oklahoma City, OK.

The KC-135 program supports sustainment and modernization of aerial refueling tanker aircraft (C/KC-135) and Special Mission KC-135 variants. Customers supported by the program are domestic and international, Government and Commercial, through both direct commercial sales agreements and via the USAF & FMS Offices. Individual will provide project and proposal management support and act as a key customer and supplier contact on day-to-day matters regarding complex KC-135 Spare and Repair Parts Proposals and Contracts.


The individual will also interface with internal cross-functional and technical teams and support staff for cost, schedule and technical planning, risk management and proposal process leadership of KC-135 spares and repairs efforts. The individual chosen for this assignment will also provide recurring meeting support including coordination/preparation, as well as maintain program metrics for proposal tracking and supplier performance. Individual will also be responsible for preparing presentations to support briefings to senior management and meetings with customers and suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analyses (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, pro‐gram initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
  • Experience with Boeing, DoD and/or USAF proposal process
  • Experience preparing and presenting complex data to senior leaders
  • Experience working with DoD, USAF or military customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in an aircraft sustainment environment
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $81,600 - $110,400
