Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring a Flight Line Group CoordinatorManager to support the 787 Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
  • Creates culture that enhances productivity, safety and a teaming environment.
  • Works cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure loto book, kit and loto equipment are used correctly and inventoried.
  • Coordinates with Leadership on execution and critical path of production build requirement.
  • Supervises and reviews current Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to work any shift assigned
  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of experience using the One Boeing Production System (BPS) or use of Lean tools and principles
  • 1+ years of experience leading staff, teams, production or quality systems initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+year of leadership experience
  • 1+ year of flight line operations experience
  • 1+ years of experience leading production system and/or process improvements (i.e. Lean, fab production system, improve job practices, techniques and standards)

Summary pay range: $102,600 - $125,400
