Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Associate Product Acceptance Specialists (Level B) to support the Quality Propulsion South Carolina Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Primary responsibility will be to perform inspections ensuring parts and assemblies meet type design, specifications, and engineering.  The successful candidate will be part of a close knit and dynamic team of Quality Assurance Inspectors. They will receive additional training in both the classroom and on the floor to be well versed in all the commodities at the Propulsion South Carolina site.

Position Responsibilities

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 1+ years of experience conducting reviews, assessments, and audits of business process documentation
  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Proficient in CMES and/or Velocity systems
  • Proficient in all forms of NCR and EPD generation (NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU and RGEN Revision etc.)
  • Able to maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job

Typical Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.   Summary pay range: $55,500 - 65,500​
