To strengthen our Quality team, we are looking for you as soon as possible at our location in Norderstedt (Hamburg metropolitan region) as a

Quality Manager (m/f/d)

As a Quality Manager (m/f/d) at Boeing:

  • You are responsible for leading and coaching a team of quality inspectors to ensure compliance with AS9100/9120 standards for aerospace components.

  • Additionally, you will oversee a team of Customer Quality Engineers.

  • Your area of responsibility includes both the Norderstedt location and our chemical-specialized site in Henstedt-Ulzburg.

  • You ensure site compliance.

  • You manage the implementation and monitoring of process improvements.

  • You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You manage the departmental budget and fulfill other assigned tasks.

  • You are responsible for compliance with KPIs.

What you bring to the table:

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a vocational training with relevant professional experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100/9120 standards as well as FAA, CAA, EASA.

  • At least 6-8 years of professional experience, including several years of leadership experience.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

  • Solid competencies in leading employees and the ability to create a motivating and structured work environment.

  • A general willingness to travel of about 25%.
