The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Programmer Analyst to join the team in El Segundo, CA

The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Contract Direct Product Support team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data supporting the Space & Launch organization. Position Responsibilities:

  • Aids design, programs and executes test plans

  • Implements, documents, and maintains routine computing applications and software

  • Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements

  • Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design

  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

  • Documents, validates, and researches reported problems and assists in developing user training

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of software development experience with application integration and system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools

  • 1+ years of experience in developing data management solutions including writing queries in SQL, .Net, Access, Oracle, JAVA Server Pages and interpreting the data

  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as C#/C-Sharp, .NET, Java, C, C++, COLDFUSION and Web/HTML technologies (Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, web services, REST, microservices etc.), Config Management tools like Azure DevOps(ADO)/TFS, Git and others

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 1+ years of experience with AGILE Development

  • 1+ years of experience with Configuration management

  • 3+ years of experience with ColdFusion

  • 3+ years of experience with Software Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with writing interfaces and ETL development

  • 1+ years of experience working with PDM/PLM systems

  • 1+ years of experience supporting engineering applications

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $64,600 - $87,400

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
