Boeing Ukraine is looking for Technical Lead Engineer to join Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Support Service Engineering team in Kyiv.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, lead, and perform detailed structural analysis (static strength, durability/fatigue and damage tolerance) to determine structural integrity (margins of safety), using classical techniques and Boeing tools

  • Develop, integrate and document structural requirements

  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment

  • Verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance

  • Coach a team of stress analysts and provide technical support across all levels

  • Proactively assure that the engineer understands the why and how of the approach, processes and procedures as well as the use of best practices to ensure technical excellence throughout every phase of a project

  • Serve as a technical mentor to help develop skills, accelerate learning and implement process improvements within the workgroup. The TLE will also assist their workgroup in surfacing and mitigating technical risks and issues or escalating (if necessary)

  • Ensure that the engineer’s work product is accurate and complete and complies with processes, procedures, and Design Practices as established by the program and the engineering functions/Capabilities. 

  • Work under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years' of experience in Aerospace industry

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • English: Intermediate level or higher

  • Stress Analyst strong knowledge of static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis

  • Technical English write/speak (intermediate level or above)

  • Deep knowledge of the Aircraft Structure

  •  Existing authorization to work in Ukraine

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in coaching and engineering mentoring

  • Familiar with FAA regulations
