  • Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect completed products such as completed assemblies, sub-assemblies, structural flaws, and surface defects.
  • Uses various measuring devices.
  • Accepts or rejects defective or nonconforming assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

The Company will provide appropriate assistance in job training to enable employees to perform all necessary job functions including the following:

  • Working from drawings/CATIA, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, software programs and test procedures, perform any inspection of parts and assemblies including processes and materials.
  • Complete visual inspection of installed hardware (fasteners), sealant application, paint application and bracket installation.
  • Initiate and document any non-conforming materials, hardware,parts, assemblies or portions there of, according to specifications, processes and procedures.
  • Inspect company final assembliesfor proper installation of all associated parts.
  • Follows a pre-determined sequence of own work.
  • Perform specific inspection points based off customer feedback.
  • Prepare and maintain Quality records.
  • Support the continuous flow of product within the Final Product Inspection section by cross training and assisting other employees including cross-training in the Assembly Technician function or functions supported
In addition, each employee may be asked, on occasion, to complete other duties and responsibilities as required by Spirit leadership. Training and certification will be provided for the additional work when required.

Requirements:

  • Must be willing and able to work any shift
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime
  • All Candidates must pass The WorkKeys Assessment (www.workkeys.com) or provide verification that they have passed The WorkKeys Assessment. Delay in completing your WorkKeys Assessment will result in a delay in your start date. You may complete your assessment in advance of an interview
